Khon Kaen Times is looking for guest article writers. It doesn`t have to be on a regular basis, a one off would be fine. They say everyone has a book in them. So now’s your chance to see if you can put pen to paper. Have you got something to say about life in Khon Kaen?
I’ve been coming to Khon Kaen for several years now but have only lived here for a year and a half. There’s plenty of things I’ve done, seen and experienced in Khon Kaen but obviously not everything. I write a lot about those experiences in Khon Kaen. I`m sure plenty of you have your own opinions and experiences on a variety of things in Khon Kaen.
Us expats can be quite an opinionated bunch, especially when we get together over a few beers. I’m not really looking for ‘bar scene’ articles, other than that, it can be on anything. No articles, however, will be published on topics that are sensitive in Thailand. The more unique, quirky, different, the better. Your article should be between 300-500 words, factually correct and related to Khon Kaen. As we are a fledgling business there is no money attached but if I decide to publish your article there`s a beer in it for you. You can send your article via our Contact Us section at the top.
It was actually Christopher Hitchens the author and journalist who said “Everyone has a book in them”. To finish that quote he also said ‘but in most cases that’s where it should stay.’ Let’s see what you’ve got!
